38 zx fuel capacity
 

anybody know what the factory fuel capacity is for a 2000 38 zx, i forgot? also what is the gph for twin 525SC's. got a poker run this weekend trying to figure what i will go through and if i will need fuel stops. i have a fifty mile run just to get to the start of it and it is only about a 60 mile run once there than a 50 mile return:D . . . .(my gauge dont work so well either)

230 gals. You'll prolly burn an avg of about 1.25mpg if you run farely hard. Wide open is a little less than 1mpg.

my 02 38 zx had 500 efi's and during a hard poker run I would calculate based on a 1mpg burn at a minimum. I think the books showed mine at optimum cruise to be around 1.6 but at 4k rpms and over it was more like 1 mpg or less. Have a good time. Hammer

Your about right, the 38ZX will go thru the gas. So much for all the talk about how efficient the 500 EFI's are, thank god for all the fuel we can hold!! :drink:
