None of my factory stuff shows mandatory hyd steering on the 22.. Maybe they really do things different up North..

22 Classic is an awesome boat. Unfortunately they are not making anymore Shelby 22's (limited run of 50 units).
The 22 Classics we have ordered have had Latham external steering, which is required for the 496 HO motor. A dealer in California had several 22 and Shelby's listed in the classifieds recently, you might check them out. |
Hydraulic is SOOOO much nicer than the stock mercruiser steering.
(Got a Fountain, had a Howard 23 very similar to a 22 classic, and one-a-these-days gonna-get-me-a 22 classic) |
