Gel coat hairline crack
 

I have a 26ZX and I just noticed there is a hairline crack about 6 inchs long above the hull number has anyone else seen this if so what causes it and what should I do about it ?? Also I dont know if this makes a difference but this boat was on stands for about 6 months. Thanks

Could be a couple of reasons. Could be from bumping something, or a batch of gel that had a little too much mek in it, or there could have been a small void (air bubble) behind the gel in that spot, or it could be just from a little too much flexing at one point.. ;)
