Are you sure because this one is listed on boat trader....

JBS boat is staggard and the '03 is side by side.

OL40SVX 09-01-2009 05:16 PM

I think one was F2 and the other Super Vee.

Correct. The BT ad is for the former SV boat. As I said, the F2 boat is really nice.

Wasn't the Super V Fk'D?

Same purple dash

Cash Bar 09-01-2009 09:54 PM

SV was/is fukked. Rolled in Miami then destroyed in Ft. Myers.

F2 boat went around a few times but I don't think ti went over. There was a great video of them spinning and one of them flew across the console and head-butted the other. Looked a little dizzy for awhile.

Skeg-monster was involved IIRC, right Greg?

Great boat! The Factory 2 Donzi won all but one race durring the 2004 season and won World and National championships. Boat and trailer were very well maintained and looked new when JBS sold the boat. Good luck and hope you enjoy the boat. Maybe enter it in a race or two, bet it would still be a winner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Donzi38ZR 09-13-2009 08:12 PM

Congrats Dreamer, you got a hellu-va-boat. Jelous.

dreamer 09-15-2009 09:39 PM

as a member of the JBS racing family now.... when do i get a ride in the mystic?:party-smiley-004:

JBS Crew 09-16-2009 08:58 PM

When you can come up with sponsorship money!!!!!!!!!!
If you ever are at a race feel free to stop by and we will be glad to let you sit in it and dream! Team JBS is always happy to meet our fans and let them hang in the pits with the crew.

dreamer 09-17-2009 04:46 PM

will be running it to KW

now onto more important questions...

like props in or out?

pitch? 4-5-6 blades

JBS Crew 09-19-2009 09:12 AM

Props out
Most likely six blades
You will have to play with set up as we removed around 850 pounds of lead from the boat from its race set up.

dreamer 09-23-2009 08:19 PM

Why the extra 850?

How does it run without the weight? Any issues?

Factory 2 rules states the boat must wiegh 8900 lbs.
Never tested it with out the wieght.

dreamer 10-23-2009 06:39 PM

Deals off
Boat is off the market
fastboats is gonna race it in KW

they r refunding my deposit

though I still flew down and paid for survey

Marginmn 10-23-2009 07:26 PM

So did you think you had a deal and they pulled it out from under you, or was this a mutual agreement to knix the deal?

Cash Bar 10-24-2009 01:48 PM

Yanked out from under.....

Usually I laugh at Ted's luck but this was BS I think.

Planetwarmer 10-24-2009 05:04 PM

I think (at least in Ok) that once you have agreed on terms and money has changed hands (ie: a deposit), they cant back out. You know, the whole contract thing and all. Unless of course there was a clause in the OG contract or you try to renegotiate the price after you gave them a deposit.

Why did you spin them out? Dave and the crew from Donzi have advised me to spin in from day one.

OL40SVX 11-10-2009 11:25 PM

Side by side vs Staggered!!

organizedchaos 11-11-2009 09:51 PM

Got it. I live near the JBS team, so I have seen the boat many times, but I was curious.
