2006 35zr questions...
 

Going to look at 2006 35zr. Anything specific to look for on a 2006? Any particular issues? Speeds with ho's? Any input from other owners would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The boat at Ocean? The boat will run 80-82 with 496 HO's.

Are you familiar witn that boat? Any more info on it?

Of course I am!:D It is a one owner boat by a local guy that traded it for a 43 Donzi with 700's. He bought it from Aqua-Mainia up in A-Bay, NY. He kept it inside at a rack. It has low hours on it for a 496 boat. The boat is in nice shape and can probably be bought right! The cabin or cockpit is not a big as your Baja but it will out handle it any day of the week. The 35's run well for their size!

I heard it was his and he keeps his equipment well maintained. It will run a little faster than mine and obviously handle better being a few feet bigger and heavier but I am looking for more spcific issues with that year model. Thanks for your input. And...hopefully it can be bought right seeing how long its been there.

The 35ZR is a fantastic boat, 35'3" Length 8'6" Beam she holds 165 Gallons of gas and has (2) Gas fills, you can gas up on either side, She has a variable twin step bottom that gives the boat great lift. she weighs about 8500lbs so she is a great rough water boat, Built off the ZRC foundation the 35ZR handles more like a 38. Kevlar hull.
Twin 496/HOs cruises at 60 MPH and tops between 80-82
very good on fuel and uses regular gas.
