Anyone have a guess on speed with the tripple 625 Ilmors? Shogren said the trip. 525 boat was low 90's.

I read one test from donzi 98 with 525 trip. That's no fuel one person and perfect water and trim conditions.

You would get better performance with a 38ZR and twin 700's like 107 mph. Handling is more forgiving (safe) and not the gas plus hassle of triples.

The 700 43 does not run close to 100...........the only one that did was the black one. The others run 94-95.

The 43ZR runs 93MPH with twin 700s top..trip 525s runs 91 and twin 900s runs 103..

I own the black widow boat from power boat magazine. It has seen 100mph on a good day in salt water. I can run 95/96 mph on fresh water daily. The boat has been maintained with open check book and i am willing to sell for the right number! PM me if anyone is interested.
