early 33 ZX props?
 

Hey i have a friend that has an early (96) non step 33ZX with 502 EFI's that are hopped up to about 450-460 hp. What props work best on this hull and should they rotate in or out? Any recommendations on pitch? Right now he has 23" Merc threeblade Quicksilvers so a baseline with them is pretty worthless, they blow out like crazy.

I Have a 96 33 zx with 502's and I have the same thing going on. takes forever to get on plane and if you give it to much gas it blowsout then you got stated all over. It does not matter what I do. I have had people tell me that I need a 4 blade props but before I buy them I would like some more imput from somone that has had the same proplem.

who are you try'in to fool Denny, you never given that boat to much gas. :D


Hey when you put'in the boat in the water for the season? I should be ready with the Scarab pretty soon here. I'll be spending my weekends at the club again this summer :cool:
