It's a free country, so I guess a seller can ask whatever price they please, but $225K........ the brand new, never sold, great looking dark blue ZRC that Shogren sold with warranty on the Merc 525's went for around $135K. $225k for this one. Good luck with that. :coolcowboy:

Boy that is going to be a really high depreciation per hour average! :D

The broker/dealer is a CC fishboat guy, he has never sold anything like this before so I would expect mistakes......like this price!

I am pretty sure the Donzi that sold at Shogren for 185K was the 43/triple 525 boat. The blue 525 ZRC was a lot cheaper. The demo ZRC w/700's may have sold at Pier 57 for 185K though.

Pier 57 advertised the red 700 boat for 195k-ish, not sure what it finally sold for. Shogren advertised the Dark Blue 525 boat for $145kish - a guy from Shogren told me that they sold it for $135-ish.

Agreed the price is way too high but it is a sweet boat and there aren't too many comps out there.

Just because others were given away, doesn't mean that is what future boats will sell at. If that was the case then we all just took a 50% hit on our boats.
I know a few boats (without naming manufacturers) that left the plants at under 50% of their MSRP and the manufacturers were taking a 25% hit just to say they sold XX number of boats in 2010.... does that mean every boat sold now will be at that price?
