Pro's of a 43zr with trip 525's
Within the next couple of months I'll be in the market for a 43zr. I need some advice on the power options. What is the pro's of having trip 525's? I understand it will consume much more gas. I do have a budget of around 200K and could possibly squeeze more (if wifey lets me). I like the boat in the classified that has the 525's whippled. What are your thoughts on power options?
I coming from owning a 353 formula. I simply decided to buy a real boat. Thank you, John |
Need Help
Guys, I just need to help on whether to buy a 43 with two or three engines. There are a few available with trip 525's or two 700's. So I just want opinions before I go spend 200K and up.
thanks |
If I remember correctly the triple 525's boats were a little faster than most of the staggered 700 boats. Stay away from the whippled 525's coupled to Bravos. You'll be eating drives left and right if you boat in rough water. My choice would be the twin 700/nxt boats. You will have a bullet proof package that runs very well. If you decide to stray away from a Donzi shhot me a PM.

Twin 700's, less weight and maintenance cost.

twins is the go.
I'd go for the brand new 38ZR with 700s for sale on this site. What a machine !! |

Thanks
Thanks Guys. I love this Donzi Forum. My choice is clear to go with the twin 700's. It's a smart choice. Although, it's tough to get by my Napoleon Disease in wanting three engines.
