differance in ride an fuel between 33 an 38 zx
 

k so im still looking for a bigger boat as i have been for a while now. an was curious how big of a differance i would see from the 33 to 38 ZX. i boat at loto an was curious if there was a huge dif in fuel as well.

i never been on a 33zx but i have a 38zx and it rides so so nice. Get some chop under the boat it will actually gain about 3mph. MPG i wanna same there close to the same, the wide beam hurts both boats. Though the room inside the 38zx over the 33zx is what made me go with the 38. I looked at both boats but i like the extra room around the table for relaxing and drinking with friends. The mpg difference between the 2 boats would be so small it would not be the deal breaker for me. IMO

Years ago we were told 40 gallons/hour at cruise & 80gph at WOT for my dad's 33ZX w/500EFI's.

No contest... the 38ZR is far superior you will not regret it.
