I'm sure it hit the bottom, Any boat would break from something like that! That guy must have money to burn.

Wasn't there a video at one time showing drive damage? Are there pictures of the stern of the boat after the accident?

I'm thinking it hit bottom too.

A couple of cans of Flex Seal should fix it right up.

Boat did not hit bottom according to the guy I've been talking to where the boat is stored

Sorry to dredge up this old thread but;

This was the best thing that could have happened to this boat with it's owner. We saw them many times on the bay and we have a slip and drystack at the same place. He had no business in a paddle boat at the local park let alone a large HP powerboat. I made it very clear to the marina that if this guy was in or around the dock I wanted my Superhawk somewhere else. If you wanted entertainement all you had to do was hang out in front of whatever marina he was pulling into.

It's obviouse that the part of the world he was from had more beach than water.... needless to say he might make a fine jockey of sorts but a boat skipper he is not.
