Zr 43 triples

Ok you donzi freaks im looking at triple 700 43
How many been build . Why the 2 engines up front one in rear . Why should i buy it

I am not sure on the build numbers but the reason they put the two motors forward is for better balance with the heavier NXT drives and transmissions.

Great boats and they run awesome but the expense of three drive lines is tough.

I don't know much about them. Way out of my price range, but why should you buy one you ask. There apparently aren't that many out there with that set up. The 38 runs great so the extra 5 feet has to ride even better in big water. Finally, it just looks bad ass, the boat, the triple wow factor, and it was in a movie. You can't go wrong with a don't let alone a zr

You've posed 3 questions and I can only answer the third one....

"Because you can!"

Triples are not the most economical way to go, service, fuel etc but a 43 Donzi is one heck of a boat. With 700's, that should be a serious performer. If you like it and the price is right, go for it.

I assume you've seen this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7JO_PlrMeA Take a look at how the hull tracks and "slides" the rear step around in the turns. It's one of the coolest videos of how step boats turn, but it also shows exactly how step boats can get out of shape if somehow the boat decides to pivot on the other step when the driver least expects it.

I agree 150% the 43ZRs are dead sexy, I have a 38ZX and will gladly give up the cabin for the way those 43s look. I myself don't want have to maintain 700s so I will be looking for trip 525s one day. I want to do the loop soon with my dad so I may jump out of the "go fast" boats for a few years but when I jump back in the 43ZR will be my first choice. Anyone seen one with AC in the cabin?

I'm rather certain I have seen 38ZRs with AC, so I'd say they were in 43s also.

They built 3 triple 700 boats. We have one of them, one of them cracked in half on that huge wave out west, and the one you are looking at that is currently for sale. It's a great boat. We love ours!

At WOT, we are at 120mph bouncing rev limiters with 17x38 cleaver props

Here are some pictures of ours. We've completely overhauled it since buying it 6 years ago
