[QUOTE=Sydwayz;4511427]So, does this ZRC still exist in canopied form?

[IMG]http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/attachments/general

It's a pleasure boat now and Dave @ MDG in Maryland owns it.

Which Orange one was painted Red? What did it look like originally?
It's not the one with the REALLY metallic paint that had green pearl is it?
(The first one that Craig Barrie built when he landed at Donzi)

Also, one of the very first boats had a red boot stripe, and red interior. It was a CA/Havasu boat and the owner painted the WHOLE thing red and put Ferrari stickers on it. (First theme boat? ) I remember it well, because someone scratched it up with the by leaning against it with brads on their jeans when docked at Desert Storm.

And the twin to Tom's boat, the "accident boat" that was in Virginia; I know that boat; been on it when new actually. The guy who caused the accident was actually an acquaintance before he lost his marina and went to prison. I think that one got a makeover too.

Confirmed. I found and chatted with the guy who imported it to Kuwait.
Well, at least I know where it is now, and can start saving gas money for the trip back one day.

Where are the ZRC molds? Still with Donzi I assume? There is such a cult type following with these and 42 Poker Run Fountains, I wonder if they would build one if a customer had the dough and had to have one.. Two of my favorite boats.

Different boat than the all Orange Craig Barrie boat - there was an orange comp with flame graphics that Doug Valentine rigged with 6's and Teague 850's. The owner sold it to a friend of his and the new owner wanted it painted solid red, so it was, then the new owner backed out of the deal after it was already painted. .

If the link works right it's the third boat in that pack of zr's
