Can't wait to see how it turns out Tom. I did some new cables for the drive indicators also, and replaced the three old speedos that didn't work,
My carpet is ok but I"m replacing it with a Sea Deck competitor. I"ll let you know how it turns out. You might want to consider it.

I know the boat well as it was in NJ for the past few years.
That boat is one of the original white/red boats like mine. Each one was built with a slightly different paint scheme (mine has just the red boot stripe, other ones have a deck stripe, red bottom, etc.) This boat is unique in it is the only one with a 1/4 cabin. The area under the deck hatches has two love seats that face each other but you need to be under 5' 8" to sit in them comfortably. It has a vinyl wrap which is showing its age a bit last time I saw it last year. (pictures look to be a couple years old) As Bob said the canopies are old and yellowed, the dash and gauges are original as is the vinyl. I am in the process of replacing all that on my boat now. The drives are a good upgrade and the engines ran strong last time I saw it run but again even those have some years on them so like any boat a good survey will tell you the truth. The front motor has the side exit exhaust which creates a unique sound and definitely gives the race boat look. Overall, I know the owner ran the boat a lot but also took care of it. There are not too many out there right now other than the Cobra boat on the West Coast. Good luck in your search.
