As stated, I brought a 79 18 2+3 back from Michigan. The boat has been sitting since 98. I took a good friend with me and we checked everything with a moisture meter and all checked out good!! I have a nice little 9.5-1 355 that is going in it. The drive is original to the boat, but the original 260 5.7 was toast. I'll be resurrecting this piece of history, once I hear from a dog bite.

Here's the 355. It has Speed Pro pistons and an Indmar 300hp roller cam with all new valve train and lifters.

Don't forget to a thorough inspection of the gas tank though . |
I will perform a tank inspection, once I get use of my hand. The foam doesn't smell of fuel, nor does the hull so I'm hoping I'll be in good shape.
