Default Donzi zx scorpion

can anyone please provide a value for a 2000 Donzi ZX 28 scorpion? The boat appears to be in excellent condition with 550 hours on the motors. Includes trailer

550hrs is on the higher end for the motors if nothing has been done to them, not to say they need work immediately, but if I were to buy a boat with those hours, I'd have those bad boys freshened up. Is the boat clean? Free of scuffs, scratches, dings, rust? If so, I can easily see $50k or more, hard to find a 20yr old clean boat, I had to sink some good money into mine and it was fairly clean. Nice 80mph boat.

From the photos, the boat looks to be in great condition. Unfortunately I’m 5-6 hours away from the boat so before I go take a look, I wanted to try to get educated before I start throwing out offers. The asking price is 54k. My concern, like you mentioned is 550 hours on each motor is definitely approaching at least a top end X2 I realize it’s a Donzi, but it’s still a 20 year old boat. Any additional info would be appreciated

I'd get a survey done if you're serious. Find out the condition of the hull, look for blistering, look at the drives and check their condition. If you can seatrail it, run it...then pull the drive plugs and check for metal shavings. Then just check all the electronics, lights, etc.
