Yeah, Mine is hard to plane as well & I'm running a whipple charged 525.
Mine has a spacer on the drive already and I was told it might need a bigger one to get some more bite. I have a lot of blowing out at low RPM if you even touch the trim. She really doesn't like a lot of trim until you start building speed, Its a bit of a "right combination" of trim and throttle to get her rolling good.

...and now...Labor Day weekend approaches...so Sommer is....going. Lol. Boat is up for sale (only put 8 hours on it all year)...PM if anybody is interested. 170 hours total. She is like new.
