Cable Lengths
 

I have a 1999 Donzi 33 ZX and need to change the K plane indicator cables on both starboard and port side, anyone know the lengths and how much of a pain is replacing them?

They should have the length printed on them towards the ends...........I did them on a 33 Outlaw wasn't to bad

My 1990 Fountain also had the length printed on the old cables. Very convenient.

Ok thanks, I'll check them out when the weather clears because boat is on the lift right now.

Checked things out yesterday and I cant get my old body down in bilge to attempt this my self, so I made a few calls yesterday to some local mechanics and one told me he would have to
remove or loose in the K Planes to replace the cables ? Does this sound correct, I can do some mechanical work myself but this would mean I would want to get the boat on trailer to attempt.
