2004 38 ZX w/ 525s, Great deal?
 

What would a great deal be on a 2004 38 ZX with only ONE hour, 525's, painted white Myco (i think) a/c, gen? I believe list was 330k.

My 2004, w/525's, loaded w/ every option except gen was purchased last Summer (03) as a new 2004 boat. I was told by the original owner in NJ that he paid $ 270k, which sounds about right. I am the second owner, bought it two months ago in August with 80 hrs for $205k, in brand new condition. I am pretty sure the 04 boat that Typhoon Performance has listed for $229 does not have the A/C option, which is a big ticket item. If the 38 your looking at has all options, a really sweet deal should be under the $230k number and could be bought anywhere at the mid to upper $200K number.

The boat can be bought for 235k on a painted trailer with a/c and gen.

Sounds like we are all in the same ball park, the trailer should be a $12-$15k value. Based on Donzi's 2004 specs, the 5.0 Gen is a $9,321 upgrade. I don't think you can go wrong at the $235k price.

A friend just bought one loaded 525s, AC, Gen sitting on an aluminum Myco for $285k. $235k is a great price.
