The article indicates:

“We have a good 13-year track record with these gas tanks,” Wright continued. “There’s a possibility we might put them on the market.”



Before I bother DW, does anyone know what these tanks are, how built, drop-in or built-in? What are the pros and cons versus aluminum tanks?


I already know that the weight savings is one of the pros, but how much weight shall I save?

The cost for a pair of DW tanks are $2,900

Price includes:

• tanks (2)
• non-reactive to ethanol
• sending unit included; preinstalled internals
• weight: 60 lbs each tank w/hardware
• 75 galons capacity ea.
• no need to foam in place, just glass into support bulkheads

Note1: these are drop-in pre-built tanks
