The 32 now shares similar , not exactly, the same traits as its bigger siblings, the 36 and the 420 That with a wider beam makes this a very hot potential to enter the race circuit...but we'll have to see first how efficiently this new hull runs....I have no doubts she will be a runner! I had a chance to watch the live stream loto race. Crazy how fast the str boat is. Stock class use to be neck and neck but the new doug wright and whatever else str is doing is certainly faster.

Rule is 63” wide and the new hull is 63” wide. Seems like people are having an issue with the new hull. Doug will certainly make more! |
With the two 360's instead of the 450's what is the top speed difference ? I would assume the boat handles better with the 360s?

The 360s are f1 only motors as their 12 inch mid sections and forward only gear cases wouldn't work on a sport cat application. There have been some news 32s with 300r power and compared to 450s I would think they woul be better balanced in big water plus cost 50k less. Speed wise I think a new 32 with 300s will do around 115, with 450s around 135...
