5 Inch Spacers For Merc Outboard
I think Id just buy a jackplate . Might pick up some MPH too.
jack plate is defineatly the way to go, you can get a manual from bobs machine fairly cheap, but if your determined to use spacer, there easily made by using something like alum trailer i beam and bolt it transom then bolt motor to it, but you better have your height adjustment right
I believe he is talking about the factory 5 inch spacer to make a 25" lower into a 20" or vice versa. If so, he will also need the driveshaft, and shift shaft.
i have one what year is the motor?
Also will need the longer water pump tube and longer studs. Go to www.Screamnfly.com
All outboards on that site. |
ding, never dawned on me that was what he was asking,
i never hear of someone wanting to convert to a 25 usally the other way around, i agree should be plenty of people on s&f to swap |
