upside down the drain ?
This will probably sound like a VERY dumb question but, wheres drain plug on these bravos ? they are supposedly origanal to the boat which would make them 1990 vintage bravo ones ? i hate to have to stand em up upside down everytime i want to change the sauce !! they arent anything fancy (XRs or XZs ) there just isnt a drain plug that i can find anywhere they do have the remote resevour bottles inside the transom HELP !!!!!!!

I think you have to remove the prop to access the drain.
|
Yeah,
Remove the prop and at the bottom of the hub, below the propshaft will be a drain plug. If there is nothing there, the older ones (88) had a drain in the front of the bullet on the lower part. If someone put a nose cone on.. it may have been covered over... But pull the prop.. it will be there more than likely.. Hope this helps.. |
Found !!
thanks gentleman these are the first experience Ive had with bravos (and 502s)

YW.. and enjoy, like we all have, the many experiences you will probably have in the future. Welcome to Performance Boating!! :) :)

BTW, you fill the drive with lube thru that same behind the prop drain hole. Do not fill it from the top vent screw.
|
Uh-oh!
If you are asking a question like this I would recommend taking your boat to a certified shop. You will be ahead in the long run. Thanks, Cam-shaft.
