What is the proper way to refinish (Merc) drives that I have worn the black paint off? Just the lowers.

Red Dog just repainted his extension boxes and I think they turned out pretty nice. See what he had to do.

define properly. if you mean mercury's process it is a lil extensive.

Many thanks to all and especially the link from klaw. It answers my question. monstaaa-I understand your response after seeing what it REALLY takes to get it right. Seems like a good winter project for a few days. Again-thanks to all who responded.

Anybody know the part #'s if i wanted to use dupont product?

Also what color code of silver do people use for the lowers?

spies hekker bruliant silber metalique.

dupont black is 99k. in either imron, centari or chroma. use the self etching primer vari-prime follow with one of their hi build primers, then an epoxy primer, then paint.
