How did you decide to go with a polished -2 shortie? I thought about it, but stayed with the normal finish? Are they faster?

The slightly rougher surface can reduce drag in the water by creating & trapping tiny air bubbles around the unit.. ;) I dont know exactly how much you will see from the drive a lone like that, but some hulls that scuff the wetted surface of the bottom can benefit slightly.. There are also some coatings that can be applied to also simulate this.. ;) Jamie / Lakeside
