I test ran the boat tonight with blower un-hooked. I spent a few hours tuning the N/A program until I was pretty happy with the AFR's and throttle response. Took it for a long hard run,it ran 2 mph SLOWER (74 mph vs 76 ) with the Imco lower,wouldn't carry the bow nice even with "baja cupped" 26 pitch labbed prop. Next step is to test run it with some extra weight in the back,if that doesn't help I'll try a 1" spacer,Smitty

I set w/o afr at 12.5 give or take a little. I made a pass though before that at 13.5-1.wasn't no faster or slower,I just figure it might be too lean there even with ceramic top coated /moly skirt coated pistons,Smitty

Ok.. I headed mine towards 13.0-12.9 and it seemed to like it, but I didnt have any back to back passes that were proof of improvement. I was only able to make the one pass after I changed the fuel map and had the boat lightened up. That gave me 87.7mph where before, my best was 83.6. The 87.7mph pass was with 5 bad cam lobes mind you, I do beleive the reason I picked up the 4+mph was due to taking everything out of the front of the boat. It was flying light, and I never got a chance to wind it out or trim it since I found my self running thru a weed bed.. :(..
