Telling new from reman drive

try to make a long story short.my dealer ordered the wrong ratio drive.the first 1 only took 2 days to get and the 2nd two weeks.they are putting the drive on today and said the new 1 had no stickers on it.find that kind of odd considering the old/new 1 had stickers on it.is their anyway to tell a reman drive from a new 1?anything i should look for? oh yea the dealer has to eat the cost of the 2nd drive thats why there is so much ? was thinking of pulling the top or back cap to check for wear.starting to think they found a used 1 and repainted it but forgot to order the sticker kit

no stickers on reman, they should have serial # for you so they can register and comes with 1 yr warranty. Make sure your bill of sale states new reman.

Ever hear of a school drive ? Just what I would want some drive thats been apart a few times !! You paid for new you should get new. Some times saving a few buck on the weakest link is not a good idea .

been there done that. Purchased a drive from a fellow oso member and got screwed with a rebuilt drive that was suppose to be new. If you pay for new it should be new. rebuilt should be cheaper.
