Bravo - Alpha

Does anyone know the measurment from the prop shaft to the drive input shaft on a bravo and a alpha.Thinking of switching from a alpha to a bravo and don't know if it is longer between shaft's. Thinking my prop might get to deep in the water unless I raise the X demension. Thanks JOHN

You do realize that you have to replace the entire transom assembly too don't you. If the dimensions are off you can move the motor up or down to account for the diffrence in height.
(sorry, I don't know the height answer to your question)

Any interest in a complete used bravo set up ? I think the gimble is an 04, drives a 1.5 and abit older with a nose cone. Rams pump bravo 24p 4 blade . Probably rite at 4k

From Ujoint to propshaft centerline the Bravo 1 and Alpha 1 are the same. I cannot remember the actual number but it's 21" ?/?. I was going to swap a Bravo inplace of my Alpha and asked the same question as I thought the Bravo would put the prop lower in the water.
