How do I change to a alpha one gen 2 from my gen 1?
 

I bought a gen 2 for a good price and now I need to retro fit it to my gen one boat ,it it hard /possible ?

weld a peace of 3/8ths by 3/4" stainless steel to the top of the shifter fork on the gen 2 and it will work on the gen1 transom plates

maybe I can help you offset the cost of the new drive... you want to sell the old Gen I?

I will have two Gen 1's for sale shortly. I am changing to gen 2's due to counter rotation.

The gen 1's are both RH rotation.

let me know what you want for one

I'm thinking about two options.

A) just change one outdrive to left hand rotatin, then I will stay with the gen 1 to have a match set. Then I will have 1 for sale)
B) change both outdrives. (will have two for sale)

Price ??? no idea yet. do you ?? ( I guess it depands on how much the new drives will cost. ) but I will change to counter rotation.
