Rear anchor pin play
 

I noticed that I have some play in the rear anchor pin on a Bravo 1(where the trim rams attach to the driveshaft housing). Mine is one of the type that has the ceramic looking spacer. How much play is allowable in that joint? Any input would be appreciated. Thank in advance,

Rene- We refer to that as the celery stick. Is yours cracked? The more play you have the more room there is to hammer it looser. There should be just enough to move the pin.

Mine is not cracked. It does have something around 1/16" of play in it though. I'll take it apart in the next day or two and see if there is anything obvious. I'll probably get a replacement spacer just in case.

That isn't too bad a new spacer and grease it up so the salt can't work on it any more.
