xr upgrade

I have a 1999-502-415 HP MPI that was upgrager to 500 HP.I plan on upgrading my drive from a Bravo One to a Bravo One XR drive. I would like to know what is involed.Or should i just upgrade my Bravo one.

If you go buy an XR drive, you will need to replace your curent gimbal bearing. Thats all.

For the hp you are running, may be cheaper to strengthen your drive instead of replacing.

is the upper case the same for the standard and XR?
