Dick,the shims are common gm 10/12 bolt rear end pinion shims, the same bearing that fits the outdrive on the big lower gear is the identical bearing/race the gm 10/12 bolt rear end uses also,ratech,DTS,randies etc sell the pinion bearings/shims real reasonable,Smitty

I have the same bearing puller from Randy's. It is way better than a press, but it is a little pricey if you rarely use it.
