Kaama Parts Needed
 

Just got the 30' formula 302 SR-1 going for test drive and after about 10 min of 75 mph we opened it up and a howl started and a bang. We took it out of the water and found out that the KAAMA surface drive was broken. The prop spins with one finger. Does anyone know where to get a book on the surface drive? How about anyone who has parts for it. I need a boot that I think Arneson has them in Ca but I did hear that there is only a few parts inside the housing and most of the parts a NAPA has the parts. Is this true of should I sell the pair and get new Arnesons?

I think Ocean Performance in Old Saybrook, CT knows some local guys who also do Kaama stuff, after all there were quite a few Kaama Sutphens around these parts...it's worth a call

Thank You so much guys! I will try them as soon as I get back in town. I was almost ready to give them up for sale so I could get some other type of outdrive and I know the work to do that swap. I have to much into this to change to outdrives now. Cant wait to see the rooster tail.
