Does a B max have a side fill plug?
I ask beacuse I have a drive gage on my current XR and if/when I go the a B max, I'd like to reinstall this gage.

none of the Bmaxs Ive had were drilled for the side vent/plug. I guess you could drill it on a used one or if ya order new get Dean to drill it for the temp probs, Ive ran mine pretty hard and stopped and felt the top cap ,it was just warm. Ive never seen it burn the oil also. When ever I wash the transometc. I shoot the water hose in the top cap were the water exits to make sure its not stopped up.
Also the sides of the upper case are water jacked, make sure were to drill:eek: |
O.K. thats good to know Strip, thanx. I wouldn't drive into it myslef, but if I go new, I will ask for a drilled port. I like having the gage. Besides, if/when I go to a B Max, I will have internal oil temp differences that should tell the story of how hard the drive is working.
