Bravo Transom Assy

I have the engine out of my 85 Scarab1 (has been upgraded from alpha) and I noticed that the last time I had to align the engine it put the starboard mount approx 3/4" lower than the port side. Everything is solid it seems the original cut out is cocked. I did use the nut lock washers so I know the nuts did not move.
My questions are.
Would the cut out have been cocked for a reason? I could fix it if needed.
I can move the inner transom plate to be parallel to the engine mounts but I think it would put a bind on the driveshaft and gimbal bearing. Or possibly make alignment impossible. There is no moving the outer without modification.
Or should I just reseal it and forget I noticed?
Thanks,
Ned

Chances are the stringers are not both at the same hight or angle really no big deal.As long as when the engine is in the alignment thru the gimble is right. JOHN

As long as your aliengment is O'k that is the aliengment tool fits in O'k. I would just leave it alone. It's not going to be a problem at all.
