Have you considered a Hydromotive prop?

Wild Card 09 03-18-2008 06:30 PM

Nope, havenīt tried one yet. No-oneīs got one here, but maybe I should look for one. 28" should do it. They are one or two pitches higher than the equivilent Bravo, from what Iīve read. i need a bow lifting prop.

I have the 1" spacer fitted, so Iīm waiting for a warm day to give it another run.

The guys at Imco said to me also that I should take the unpolished one for the same reason.........but that polished one just looked so sexy! Anyway, I figured that there is gonna be soooo little of it in the water that it canīt make the difference.

What makes more difference is the low water pickup on the Imco.Dual water pickup (Bravoīs) are faster. Iīm told it is because the upper pickup acts like a pressure regulator. However, it only works when there is enough of it still in the water, otherwise the pump will be sucking air. I have closed up the upper four holes (per side) and it works really good.

A 28" Hydromotive would be worth a try, then?
