Buying complete Bravo 1 and Transom Assy
 

Thanks to Mr. Submerged telephone pole I will need to replace the complete drive and transom assy. So I am looking for the good deals of course and have found some on e-bay and thru some OSO classifieds and OSO advertisers. The question is if you guys were buying where would you buy these items. I am buying new, not rebuilt, not refurbished whatever. I do not need to upgrade because my 502/MPI is stock except for the Gil Offshore exhaust. This is for a 26' Scarab.

there might be some left overs or used in the classifieds,I bet ya going to need the ujoint asmy, and maybe the engine coupler if the prop is bad.

Did it take on water?

It did take on water but the bilge pump kept up. I am going to need every thing from the drive coupler to the prop. I looked at BAM and kinda thought they had the best prices for the ease of mind factor.

What is considered a left over? Are left overs new?

I would also give Donnie Carter a call. Also would not hesitate on left over or non-current inventory as long as you know that no significant changes were made on the current model.
