Vulcan, better yet, contact MR Gadgets, here on OSO. He can build those B1 drives using the large steel towers and other HP parts, to be as strong or stronger than an XR. BTW I run built B1 drives on my 28 Advantage Sportcat. Many "experts" feel that built B1 drives, are actually stronger than a stock XR. Just some food for thought, and it may save your friend some money.
