08 bravo1
Just bought 08 292 formula fastech with 6.2s 320hp is it necessary to be careful getting out of the hole I mean not putting down the throttle or is 320hp nothing to worry about . I seam to have some prop slip so I need to give it some juice. lab 28s thanks

brick it.

Just don't slam the throttles all at once like you're trying to pull a skier. Ease it forward over about 2-3 seconds.

I know the question is funny, but I read allot about going easy on drives. meaning (big power) on a stock bravo I gess I was trying to rest my mind with only 320hp so if I give it some extra juice I won't feel like I'm hurting my drives ?? thanks for the heads up !! :drink:

The 6.2's do not make the kind of drive killing torque that big blocks make. Your drives should live a very long time behind them.

Darrell It's good to hear that my drives will live a long time with the 6.2s thanks :drink:

The 6.2's should be easy on that drive, however if you just gradually ease into the sticks stuff will last even longer for you.. :)

yep I started with a 330hp 1st summer spun 2 props and one engine coupler, so easy into the sticks, otherwise you might be paying for couplers at 400 a piece pull the motors to change. it cost me a grand back in 1990 week of the 4th, all because someone said NAIL IT, trouble was I nailed it all spring:hitfan art
