Sportmaster Oil Drip
Hello-
I have a sportmaster gearcase on a 300 promax. If you are facing the boat, on the right side of the gearcase near the nose end, were the case meets the midsection is this very small notch in the case (which looks like it should be there) and in the last week, gearcase oil has dripped from it down the case leaving a very small spot of oil on the ground. Has anyone experienced this before? Is this normal or something to be concerned about"? The color of the gearcase oil itself looks fine, and the drip started the day I changed the prop. Any thoughts appreciated Thanks EA |

HI- thanks for the response.
Boat is a 24 Superboat. The oil has now stopped the drip from the right side, and then dripped from the left for a day, then stopped |
