Alpha drive Help!!!!
 

I have a alpha 1 gen one drive .I put a 350mpi merc in last year.My question is this.The alpha used a momentary switch on the shifting plate that grounded out the ign. to shift.It was a carbed 4.3.Now with the mpi motor I didn't hook it up because nobody at the time seemed to be able to figure what to hook this up to, to kill the ign.and if this type of switch would even work I didn't want to burn the comp. up . Well turning off the engine all the time to get out of gear is starting to be a real pain.Can any of you guys HELP me out on this,I'm no dummy but I'm not up to par on this injected engine and it's wireing layout.Thanks Very Much JOHN

If there is a White/Green wire comming from your distrbutor it goes to the Grey wire teminal block near the cut off switch.
