Amsoil Pricing?

Anyone know what a person should expect to pay for Amsoil 75W110 Severe Gear Lub... and where is a good place online to get it? Thanks in advance!

the shop i use to service all my cars at the lot has been an Amsoil distributor for a while, i don't think he sells online but he is straight up. give him a call 513-860-3970 ask for jim he is the owner. the place is called Jim Seiberts automotive. i've been dealing with him for over 5 years, he is as honest as the day is long.

edit: i just talked to him, he said you can buy it direct from Amsoil. he said give them a call and they will ship it right to you.

Thanks for the response... I think direct is about $14 per quart and some change... that seemed a little high to me, but maybe that's the going rate?!?!

Teague is a big Amsoil dealer (Hence the sponsorship). Give them a call. $14 a quart sounds about right. That stuff is expensive.

If you guys are interested I would be willing to offer you any Amsoil products you could use at my dealer cost. You will pay the same as I would shipped to your location. A case of 12 qts of the 75w-110 would be about $150 shipped to NM. If you want other quantities or product pricing just let me know.

Just send email to [email protected] with what you need and your location with Zip Code.

$11 is the preferred customer price.

I buy mine online directly thru Amsoil, using their preferred customer program. I usually get 5 gallon pails for like $110-120 or so but I use the marine lube.

That seems pretty close to what "o2man98" sold me the case for... once I add in shipping, we're right there or maybe even a hair better. Either way, $11 is MUCH better than the $14 and change most want.

Either way it's a lot of money for what you're buying but how often do you have to change it? It's still cheap for what it does I think although I hate paying for it.

It certainly does not foam like the merc gear oil does. I pulled my cap off after flushing on the hose and it's amazingly stable with regards to the lack of airation.

I'd agree... I about $hit when I heard how much it was... but I figure if the drive manufacturer recommends it, then I'd go with it since it is there business to know their own drives.
