Alpha Question
 

A friend of mine called last night and was asking about aftermarket lowers for Alpha drives that were built in the 80's. He has a Glastron Scimitar with around 300HP running in the 60's GPS with an Alpha. He has talked with another Scimitar owner in the North East that has what looks like a speedmaster from the pics but its an alpha upper with a shorter lower and crescent shaped drive like the speedmaster. He is supposed to be sending me a pic but I dont have it yet. The Scimitar with the strange drive is running in the 70's GPS with the same HP just that different drive.

Anyone know what drive it may be?

probably an alpha ss or an outboard lower (cle I think) conversion

you might be able to find a nose cone though Hydromotive.......

they are for sale on the donzi forum from time to time...

you would think with all the boats that have the alpha someone would make a SS replacement unit
