well, I have been looking everywhere for a new or good condition used, prop shaft for #4. any help would be nice.
I know most people are going to say good luck or no such thing, but maybe some magic could happen. thanks

The best bet is to get a #5 shaft and maschine it to fit ,,,or fix the one u have if it is fixable !! #5 shafts ,,,,1500 + !!!

having a spare drive for parts ,,,after buying the one i have ,,,priceless !!!

ok well yes, I am the guy from cali. And no the shaft is not fixable (at least to my standards it's not). and I think it would be a better idea to locate a #4 shaft, before I start to machine down a #5.

I think maybe you should help finding one, after all you know the condition of the old one. Also wouldn't hurt to get me a 1" spacer :ernaehrung004:

I just checked the boat you referred to @ Lake Cumberland and it states in the ad that the boat is equipped with Bravo drives not #4's.
It is hard to tell from the only picture that shows the drives if they are Bravo's or #4's.
Oh well, just trying to help.

prop shaft will work in Left of right hand drives. the prop shaft internals are the same on the 3s & 4s..
