TRS Bearings

Are the bearings in a TRS only available from merc, or are they a standard type bearing available from a bearing supplier?

I rebuilt my TRS about 15 years ago and was able to get all the bearings except one at a local bearing supply house. It was the pinion bearing in the bottom end. They checked into it for me and told me the manufacturer said they could only sell it to Mercury. It may be available now though,I don't know.

If you can get the bearing number you can buy at your local bearing store for about 1/3 the price of OEM.

Ya,their all taper Timkins except 2 which are the pinion bearing on the lower drive shaft and the prop shaft bearing in the carrier.Their straight roller Torringtons.
