Indicator issues
 

I just put my drives back on and now the indicators don't want to work correctly. When I brought the starboard side in the indicator moved to the full in position. When I engaged it out the indicator didn't move. When I checked the actuator on the side of the drive the inner piece that slides out remained in. I checked the cable throughout and don't see any kinks that would inhibit it, pulled the actuator apart and the cable didn't expand on it's own so I twisted it in order to expand to what would be full out. Put it back together trimmed drive to full in, indicator worked fine, once I trimmed back out the actuator again remained at full in. Bad cable?

Now the port side--when the drive is in, the indicator moves to the full in position. When I engage the drive out the indicator moves to the full out position before the drive is all the way out. Is that the way it's supposed to function?
