Default shim

Where does the shim go on a bravo 1 ? The shim thats at the end of the hydrualic rams does it even matter?

Wild guess but are you referring to the trim pin insert? Also know as the celery stick or whale bone, if so the "factory" position for Bravo one is in front of the trim pin. The Bravo three shares a common upper and it should be behind the trim pin to limit negative trim thereby reducing stern lift to prevent spinout. The BIII can really lift the stern if trimmed under to far.
