?? What are the drive spacers for Bravo's

I am switching to B XR's Sweptback. I have heard about drive spacers to limit the drive from triming to high. Can anyone please explain or have a part number. Can't seem to find any info.

Thanks

JT.. i AM PRETTY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT DRIVES, I FEEL A LITTLE STUPID LOOKING AT THE DIAGRAM. I SEE THE SPACER 29 IN THE BOX BUT CAN'T QUITE SEE WHERE THESE SPACERS GO. THE CAP'S ARE JUST THE PLASTIC END CAPS THAT COVER THE END'S OF THE PINS . IS THAT THE CAP YOUR TALKING ABOUT.???? STILL NOT SURE HOW THEY WORK. A LITTLE MORE HELP IS APPRECIATED.

THANKS

They go inside the cylinder,
they slide on to the ram, and limits the movement
of item #8 when the spacer hits item # 21

I know this is an older post but I am in the same situation. Do you have to open up the hydraulic ram and will this limit upward travel?

The issue I have is that the owner set up my boat with a higher than normal x-dimension and if you trim it all the way up, the drive cap with a drive shower will hit the under side of the swim platform.

Yes, they go inside the rams. Pull the end cap, slide in the spacer. It's easy unless the end cap is stuck, and you do need a spanner wrench to get it off. You can stack more than one if needed. It really does not affect the trim, when the drive is that high it is in "Trailer" position.

This might be a stupid question. Why not just find out what max hight you can go is, and then mark it on your indicator?

Because when the tech at the dealership doesn't know or doesn't care, knowing what the max height is does me no good.

I would rather liimit it than run the risk of having to have the underside regelled again.
