Arneson question

What sort oil do I need to run in my Armesons ASD8,s straith drives ?
There are 2 hoses coming from the units that run through the transom ,and 2 plastic containers that probably contain the oil ?? Can anybody explain how this need to be plumbed ?
Do I need to cool the oil ,and or pump it around /in and out the drive ?

Thx

80-90 wt Gear Oil or Merc Hi Perf.

The oil reservoir is mounted inside the boat and it is where the oil is added for the drives.

What boat do you have?

No oil cooler needed, no nothing other than the oil and the hoses. There are two fittings on the reservoir for the two hoses that are mounted to the drive to connect to. Real simple.

Nope, just higher than the drive socket and you will be fine.
