what is the verdict on sei drive's
how are the sei drives holding up, haven't seen any threads on these lately and have a customer that is looking at one, he is after a alpha, but I would like to know about the other's they are selling also.
|
I've been beating on my SEI drive (Alpha) for 3 years now. The only thing I don't like is the quality of the paint finish. Otherwise it works fine.

I'm a dealer for SEI and have sold a couple of there Bravo lowers with good results.
|
Pretty much the same results from our shop as well.. :) Jamie / Lakeside

What are ya'll getting for the B1 lowers. What kind of warranty, I heard 3yr unlimited??
|
$895 brand new with a 3 year warranty- I wish they made them for 300XS!
Is quality sacrificed? "No way!" exclaims Pickren. “In fact, we feel so strongly about the quality of our drives that we have extended our warranty to a three-year, fault-free warranty. This warranty covers any type of damage that requires the drive to be repaired or replaced including hitting underwater objects, sucking up fishing line, or even dragging the drive up a launch. It's all covered, no questions asked.” Buddy of mine has been putting them on left and right with not only no problems but 1/3 the Merc cost. Trim rams? They sell them $120 brand new! |
I've probably read it before, but where are the SEI's manufactured? Parts origin?

Assembled in Florida.

Ran the SE alphas on my Sutphen for the whole time I owned it. No problems with anything and I wasn't gentle all of the time.
